Taking inspiration from Baja East’s new “BE" logo showcased during their Fall/Winter 2016 runway show, Rita Remark for essie created distinct monogram nail designs for both male and female models. The look incorporated the brand’s initials, as well as colors found throughout the collection.
essie nail products used: ridge filling base coat, licorice blanc, sand tropez, good as gold, good to go, top coat matte about you
Get the look (women):
1. Apply ridge filling base coat to clean, filed nails
2. Next, apply two coats of either licorice, blanc or sand tropez to all nails (color choice varies between models)
3. Using a striping brush dipped in good as gold, apply thin vertical and horizontal lines to create the “B” and “E” side by side on one hand; on the other hand, apply letter of choice via the same application method (placement will vary from model to model)
4. Finish with good to go top coat
Get the look (men):
1. Apply ridge filling base coat to clean, filed nails
2. Using a striping brush dipped in licorice, apply thick vertical and horizontal lines to create the “B” and “E” on the ring and middle fingers of one hand only
