How-To: Star-Studded Mani

Glitz and glamour. Embellishments all over. These are a few of Jenny Packham’s favorite things when it comes to the runway. This season, Michelle Saunders for essie was captivated by a star design from a textile in the collection, which sparked the idea of a star-studded nail look. For the base color she chose mademoiselle, a classic, grown-up pink, to highlight the star. As for the nail design, she selected metallic shade good as gold and placed the “petite” star on the thumb and a sporadic finger on each hand to create more visibility when on the catwalk.

“What I love about Jenny Packham is that she understands that just a bit of nail art, done elegantly, can be another form of accessorizing.” —Michelle Saunders
