The hair looks created for Phillip Lim’s AW2017 runway show where created by hair stylist, Duffy, incorporating various styling essentials from professional hair brand, KMS.
To marry Lim’s vision of diversity in character and design, Duffy created a personalized, individual style for each model’s hair that embraced her own natural texture and silhouette to complete the looks. Lim’s collection was an eclectic offering including bold pops of colour, oversized puffer coats, delicate Victorian lace neck lines and underlying elements rooted in 80’s British counter culture - "the New Romantics."
To complement this collection, Duffy created uniqueness through individuality of the hair looks with contrasting structures and visual silhouettes working with loose natural waves, "thrown up" ponytails with a frayed edge, effortlessly straight hair and graphic bold cuts dried naturally to create effortless style, this undulating mix of silhouettes gave the show a structured rhythm on the runway.
