Farouk Systems Inc. has named its longtime Creative Director and noted platform artist Mego Ayvazian as its new Vice President of Education and Shows.
The Houston-based company, which creates professional beauty tools and product lines BioSilk and CHI, credits Ayvazian with "shaping the brand's artistic direction and fostering a culture of innovation."

Ayvazian is an internationally renowned colorist, stylist, educator, and platform artist known as a crowd favorite at hair shows and exhibitions.
His long history in the beauty industry started as an award-winning stylist and salon owner before joining Farouk as its Trending Hair Color Creator and then Creative Director.
In his new role, Ayvazian bring his penchant for pushing creative boundaries to enriching educational opportunities for beauty professionals. That includes developing cutting-edge training programs, workshops, re-certification initiatives, and more.
