Vanderbilt Hall at New York City’s Grand Central Terminal was transformed into a runway for the Diesel Black Gold Spring/Summer 2014 Collection. Guido Palau, Global Artistic and Creative Director for Redken, created the hairstyles for the show. Due to safety regulations at Grand Central Terminal, no aerosols were allowed to be used backstage. Guido was left with the unique task of picking the perfect, non-aerosol Redken product. With no hairspray or mousse on hand, Guido chose Redken’s Outshine 01 for the look. He envisioned a girl coming back from the beach and created feminine and wearable fishtails braid, using the outshine 01 to add a glossy feel. To complete the look he wrapped black and white leather ties at the end of the braid.
