Best of Masters Audio: Pamela McNair-Wingate

Pamela McNair-Wingate founded Gadabout Salons in 1979. This respected, Kansas City–born hair designer-turned-entrepreneur built an impressive multimillion-dollar business in Tucson, Arizona: Gadabout quickly became a major spa enterprise, with seven locations in Tucson and over 200 employees. Pamela then developed a rapidly expanding day spa business and several product lines. Passionate about giving back, Pamela and her employees donate their time and resources to local charities and underprivileged children in the Tucson community.

Interviewed by Winn Claybaugh, Pamela emphasized the need for leaders to empower their teams and help them succeed.

“I owe so much to Pam, and so does most of the beauty industry,” Winn says. “She is pure class.”
