The letter A is for "ASK" (for the Sale) - likely one of the earliest pieces of advice I was ever given by a sales manager or boss.  Simply asking for the sale is where sales starts… but the funny thing is many of us are a bit gun-shy about pulling this trigger.  Table servers are often provided scripting as to how to suggest items and offer drinks, deserts and appetizers… all great ways to build a ticket and grow their sales and income.  Perhaps we should work on scripting for salon pros to make asking easy, familiar and comfortable.  It all starts with the ask.
