Intercoiffure Fall 2015 Atelier

Intercoiffure held its 2015 Fall Atelier in New York City this past October. And, according to Frank Gambuzza, the new ICA President, the industry’s most influential leaders came out in record numbers. The theme for the two-day event: Honoring the Past and Embracing the Future. “It’s always important to understand and appreciate where we came from,” says Gambuzza. “And in today’s rapidly changing beauty climate, it’s even more important for us to understand where we are going.” To that end, a touching awards ceremony honored industry greats like USA Intercoiffure Chairwoman and Geneses Salon owner Connie Sullivan, and award-winning celebrity hairstylist Mary Brunetti. Meanwhile, cutting-edge classes, innovative demonstrations, an appearance by social media rock star Guy Tang, and a provocative runway show provided plenty of ideas to help salon owners navigate an increasingly competitive marketplace.
