Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, hosts from the popular Netflix series “Get Organized with The Home Edit,” kicked off a Featured Members’ experience with MY SALON Suite with an exclusive virtual event. Here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.

How do I create enough storage space to accommodate all my inventory and materials that are currently not fitting in cabinets?

Take advantage of your vertical space! We love utilizing clear stackable drawers to keep everything organized and accessible.

How do I better keep the space de-littered in the open spaces, as to not take away from vibe and brand?
Create a system and conceal the items you don’t want seen behind cabinets. Also, use a wall rack with hooks to get items off the ground.

I would love to find ways to maximize space. What are your thoughts on how to do so with a small suite?
We recommend adding a clear rolling cart to your space. It brings both form and function, which is where the magic really happens. Look for a cart with different tiers so you categorize and create your own system. We also recommend investing in chic wall hooks! Vertical space is key.

I have a small space. How can I make the most of it without it looking junky?
Look for acrylic or clear storage solutions. They are beautiful and functional, and instantly elevate a space.

What is one of your favorite products?
We live for divided turntables! They work in almost any space, and provide such easy access to items…especially in awkward corners.

Shallow drawer tips?
Always measure beforehand. Use a combination of inserts and test multiple configurations to come up with the smartest solution for the given space, as well as the items that will live there.
