Great Clips Wins Digiday Technology Award for Best Social Marketing Platform

Salon brand Great Clips won a 2022 Digiday Technology Award in the category of Best Social Marketing Platform for its Salon Social Ad Platform (SSAP). The 2022 Digiday Technology Awards recognize companies that are exploring new technologies and adapting to meet the needs of the digital media industry.

SSAP empowers Great Clips franchisees with a self-service, on-demand social ad solution to reach customers and potential employee candidates. With a user-friendly interface, the platform takes the guesswork out of paid social advertising for busy small business owners. The solution focused on brand compliance and performance best practices and addressed challenges involving campaign funding across a robust franchisee network.

The Salon Social Ad Platform allows Great Clips franchisees to simplify purchasing and scheduling Facebook and Instagram ads for multiple salons at a time, with just a few clicks while also tracking results in real-time. In the first seven months of the platform launching, over 400 campaigns were published with a 70 percent greater click-through rate than the industry average and a 77 percent lower cost per click when compared to the industry average.
