MONAT Global Donates $288,000 for Charitable Causes

MONAT Global Corp., a healthy-aging haircare, skincare and wellness provider, is donating $288,000 as a result of sales from one of its signature products, More than a Mist by MONAT. The majority of the funds will benefit organizations serving underserved youth through a grant program established by MONAT’s philanthropic entity, MONAT Gratitude. Given the devastation caused by recent Hurricanes Fiona and Ian, the company redirected a portion of the total to support affected communities in Puerto Rico, Florida and Canada.

Funds will be donated to youth-focused organizations through MONAT Gratitude’s $1 million pledge grant program that aims to close achievement gaps in underserved communities around the world by supporting new and existing initiatives in arts and culture, youth sports and recreation, and youth entrepreneurship. Recipient organizations providing hurricane relief efforts include The Salvation Army Puerto RicoCanadian Red CrossThe Salvation Army in CanadaFarm Share (Florida) and The Salvation Army Florida.

“After learning of the devastation across Puerto Rico, Florida, and Canada’s Atlantic Coast from the recent hurricanes, we knew our resources from this initiative could be impactful,” said Lu Urdaneta, MONAT Global chief culture officer and MONAT Gratitude CEO. “At the same time, we were able to channel significant funds to continue pursuing our goal of donating $1M to youth education programs across the globe. Both efforts are helping make a big difference in communities across the globe, and that’s exactly what MONAT Gratitude was created to do.”

MONAT Gratitude has donated more than $600,000 to more than 40 youth education programs through the $1 million pledge grant program in 2022. Eligible nonprofits in the U.S., Canada and Europe can learn more and apply for grants ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 now through December 28 via the MONAT Gratitude’s grant page at monatgratitudegoal.com.
