With more than 500k Instagram followers, Rickey "Hairgod" Zito is known for vibrant color transformations. That said, it makes total sense that Matrix is collaborating with Zito for an extension on their popular SOCOLOR Cult Line. The Rickey “Hairgod” Zito X Cult collaboration features four distinctive shades that reflect Zito’s personal vision.
An official brand ambassador for Matrix, Zito has partnered with brand since 2018 when it first launched the Cult collection, a range of vivid color shades in semi-permanent, demi-permanent and permanent variations. Since its inception, Zito has collaborated with the brand to create show stopping and trending looks at shows, events and on Instagram.
“I initially got into the brighter colors as a form of rebellion,” says Zito. “But then I focused all my time and energy on trying to make vivids look expensive. When SOCOLOR Cult came around it made my job easy,” he adds.
