Color How-To: Blue Melt

This melty blue color by Sita Zoroa is the perfect way to kick off spring. Here, she shares the steps to create the hue.

Step 1
Bleach the roots at 6 percent

Step 2

Apply toner mixed with Indola Pearl (white) and a little part Blue to darken and pigment the bleached roots. On the midlengths and ends, tone only with Pearl.

Step 3
Blow-dry hair completely dry.

Step 4
Color the roots with Blue (it will be darker with the previous shade). Comb the color to degrade to next step.

Step 5
Color the mids with the same Blue (it will be more clear). Color the ends with Pearl. Massage the hair where the two colors meet.
