Get the Look: Addison Rae’s 'He's All That' Bombshell Mane

Celebrity hairstylist Ryan Richman and Addison Rae's glam squad had a vision to turn Addison into an '80s "carefree supermodel" at the He's All That movie premiere. Here's how Richman achieved the look.

  1. I prepped towel dried hair with UNITE’s ELEVATE Mousse from roots to ends to create buildable volume throughout the style. Then, I rough-dried the roots with a blow-dryer and my fingertips by lifting the hair up off of the scalp for maximum volume. To finish drying, I used a medium round brush with the blow-dryer concentrator nozzle attached and rolled the brush from ends to base to create bounce and volume.”
  2. Using a 1.5-inch curling iron, I added some waves in alternating directions while taking imperfect sections so that the style wasn’t too perfect and smooth.
  3. After adding some shape, I sprayed TEXTURIZA Spray focusing at the root and used my hand to shake out the wave for a tousled voluminous finish.
  4. Using a fine-tooth comb, I backcombed around the face to give long lasting root lift for that supermodel style and sprayed Lé:Play Hairspray to hold the style in place but making sure it will be pliable enough that the hair can move and be touched.
