Chung-Yang Su of Rokk Ebony in Melbourne, Australia, studied graphic art in his native Taiwan before finding his calling as a hairdresser. After seeing Kate Moss in a print ad for Calvin Klein shot by Richard Avedon, he began studying the work of the famed fashion photographer. The takeaway? “It’s all about the model—her uniqueness and her emotions,” says Chung-Yang, who created and photographed this collection, which he calls Revival, in the spirit of simplicity that informed all of Avedon’s work.
