Over the course of three sessions, hairstylist and extensions specialist Jade Ly ( @jade__ly) lifted her client’s virgin black hair to a silver and white base to create this luxurious melt and shadow root. Using smoky silver and lavender shades for a velveteen appearance, it’s the perfect pick for those wanting a subtle yet creative color.
Get the Look:
- Lift hair to a level nine.
- Paint a shadow root with Fanola Prestige Colour 10.11 + 11.2 + 10 Volume + one inch of Fanola purple mixer. Process for 10 minutes.
- Using the shadow root formula, add more 10 Volume developer to the rest of the color bowl.
- Apply the new diluted formula to the ends quickly to create a light lavender color.
