Color How-To: Sugarplum Lavender

If you weren't already a fan of lifestyle blogger Keaton Milburn (@kkeeaattoonn), you will be now. With more than 100 thousand followers on Instagram, the 20 year old has posted about her haircolor changes before—she's gone platinum blonde, dip-dyed her ends and experimented with a darker purple— but she just jumped on one of our favorite trends: lavender. Eric Vaughn (@realericvaughn), hairstylist and owner of REV hair salon in Houston, Texas, created Milburn's sugarplum color and shared the formula with us. Here's how you can recreate the look:

Get the Look:

*starting level was a 5/6

  • Lighten hair to level 10 using Wella Soft Blonde Cream (35 volume)
  • Apply 30g Pravana Lucious Lavender + 10g Pravana Amethyst + 2g clear 
  • Process for 30 minutes
