Grace Van Patten added some spice to her blonde locks, debuting her new Golden Strawberry Blonde shade recently at the Walt Disney Company's inaugural Toast to TV event in L.A.
Crafted by Jacob Schwartz, the U.S. Hair Color Trend Ambassador for Schwarzkopf Professional, the actress' soft, dimensional color is a bright, golden ginger with a natural “sunlit East Coast” feel and subtle Irish-inspired warmth.
The result is a multi-dimensional, warm red that feels elevated but adaptable.
“Grace really wanted the color to feel natural, dimensional, and effortless — like a softer, more elevated interpretation of red that still felt true to her," Schwartz says. "We talked a lot about creating something that had warmth and richness, but still felt modern and lived-in rather than overly polished.
"We landed on this bright golden strawberry blonde because it feels soft, reflective, and incredibly wearable while still making an impact.”
Schwartz achieved the shade by building a light, golden-honey base with Schwarzkopf Professional's Igora Royal to create a rich, yet soft foundation.
He layered lowlights using the brand's Igora Vibrance for dimension and longevity, and placed highlights throughout using BlondMe Premium Lightener 9+ and Igora Vario Blond Super Plus.
