Grey's Anatomy fans, this one's for you!
You may already know that Patrick Dempsey aka Derek Shepherd aka McDreamy (swoon!) is married to celebrity makeup artist Jillian Dempsey, but what you might not know is that they met earlier in her beauty career when she was a salon owner. She's tapping back into those roots with the launch of a hair product, inspired by her time grooming her hubby's full head of hair.
The product, which was two years in the making, is called Roadie, and it's an old school, classic pomade in a stick. The pomade is warmed in the palms of your hands and can be used to create piecey texture or lay down flyaways.
“I met Patrick when I owned a beauty salon in West Hollywood back in the day,” Dempsey said in a press release. “Yes, his hair was naturally wavy and a little out of control, but with the right cut, we found our way through it. To be honest, I had to use three different products to actually tame his hair and get it looking good. But now he just uses the Roadie—that’s it. It’s like the whole history of his hair in one twist-up stick.”
