A new last name isn't the only thing Lea Michele is rocking lately. Shortly after returning from her honeymoon, the Glee actress headed straight to the salon for a little hair transformation. Nikki Lee (@nikkilee901), the Nine Zero One hairstylist responsible for Michele's new 'do, is calling her color "sunlight brunette," further proving that brunettes can lighten up for spring color while still maintaining a dark base.
"Her base color is the one we did for her wedding," Lee says. "It's a classic brunette with beautiful golden highlights—a timeless color." But after some time in the sun with her new beau, Michele's color lightened up even more. "I glossed her hair to that beautiful sunlight color to avoid brassiness," Lee adds. "It's the perfect color for both spring and summer," she says. We can't help but agree.
