How to Style a Classy Blunt Bob

The classy blunt bob is a versatile look—one that translates from everyday to the red carpet, like the classic style Kristen Bell wore when promoting her upcoming movie, Frozen 2.

“The Dior dress and the dusty rose color called for a low-key hair do," said celebrity stylist Jenny Cho. "I recently cut Kristen’s hair into a blunt bob. I love how modern it feels. In order to keep that as the theme for her, a center part tucked behind the ears with barely any texture and few loose strands out in-front the ears felt balanced and fresh with the dress.”

To create this look, start with freshly washed hair.

1. Apply mousse all over for even distribution then apply a dime size amount of anti-frizz and shine cream from the mid shaft to the ends. Continue to apply as needed.

2. Part the hair in the center and loosely dry the hair from the nape using your fingers so the product can be evenly distributed in the hair. Slightly scrunch the hair to bring out any natural texture.

3. Starting from the nape, mist hairspray onto each section of the hair and slightly flat-iron the hair.

4. Make final touches by adding a dime-size amount of pomade to the palm of your hands and separate pieces of the hair for a lived-in bob.
