Flat waves are having their moment on Instagram, and it’s for a good reason: they photograph beautifully. As it turns out, the dips and bends help differentiate shadows and pick up light perfectly, showing off color, dimention and fullness. In other words, flat waves are basically Instagram eye-candy. There’s also another reason social media can’t get enough of the flat wave trend, the style can be easily created on a variety of hair lengths, and offers a range of looks from smooth and polished, to textured and effortless.
