Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri Want You To Stop the Facetune and Be Authentic

(Nikki Lee + Riawna Capri)

Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri are the California dream team—they're the mane mavens behind some of Hollywood's biggest names and the owners of L.A.’s Nine Zero One salon (@ninezeroone). With the goal of creating a space that was both comfortable, yet trendy and high class, Lee and Capri built one of the country's top salons from the ground up, and their story is only just getting started. Here, the duo shares a few things you may not know about them.

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

NL: Do things for the passion, not for the money. The money will come.

RC: Make sure you have something that motivates you! My dad looked me in the eyes right before I went to beauty school and said  “you’ll be back.” I’ve been so successful because I worked so hard to avoid going back home.
