Showpony Professional Demonstrates Versatility in Anniversary Collection

One model, six looks encapsulating strength and individuality. That’s the premise behind I Am, an inspiring collection seen on these pages from Australian hair extension stylemaker Showpony Professional. Acclaimed photographer Andrew O’Toole, award-winning artist Joey Scandizzo and Showpony founder and Managing Director Stephanie Mason collaborated on the release, creating looks that commemorate the brand’s recent 10-year anniversary. “I wanted the collection of images to really reflect the alter-egos that women possess and to show how individuality can inspire a different look every day,” says Mason.

For this romantic look, Scandizzo used three Showpony Professional 2 x 3 clips, a 1 x 4 clip piece and 20-inch Tape Hair Extensions for volume. After prepping and curling the hair away from the face with a ½-inch tong, he created a deep side-part and gently brushed the curls out, then finished the style with Eleven Give Me Hold Flexible Hair Spray.

To create this classic shape, Scandizzo affixed three 2 x 3 clips and a 1 x 4 clip piece from the 7 Piece Clip-In Human Hair Extension Set to build volume before prepping the hair and extensions with Eleven Miracle Hair Treatment and Sea Salt Texture Spray. He used a ½-inch tong to curl the hair away from the face, then brushed it out, backcombed the roots to create volume in the crown and tied hair into a low ponytail. He pulled out pieces to create a wispy texture.

To achieve this wild-at-heart design, Scandizzo affixed three 2 x 3 clips and a 1 x 4 clip piece from the 7 Piece Clip-In Human Hair Extension Set as well as 20-inch Tape Hair Extensions for volume. He curled the hair away from the face with a ½-inch tong, and used a blow-dryer and I Want Body Texture Spray to amplify movement before parting the hair and pulling a few strands out. A misting of Give Me Hold Flexible Hair Spray finished the look.

This glam style gets its volume from two 7 Piece Clip-In Human Hair Extension Sets that Scandizzo placed throughout the entire head. After using a 1½-tong and a base curling technique to curl hair away from the face, he backcombed the root area to boost volume before brushing out the curls and misting them with Give Me Hold Flexible Hair Spray.
