Color How-to: Vermillion Orange

Paul Mitchell Global Editorial Director and NAHA 2016 Editorial Stylist of the Year, Lucie Doughty, conjures a major David Bowie moment with this style’s vibrant color and asymmetric cut, taking us back to a time when no rules ruled. Expressionistic and totally wearable, the combo captures the spirit of the SS16 runways, where ’70s-inspired grunge met an all-new modernity. Doughty used Paul Mitchell POP XG, a new semi-permanent line of cream hair color shades created for color professionals, to achieve the dramatic results. The long-lasting pop of color lasts for up to six weeks, depending on porosity, while the rich conditioning base leaves hair soft and nourished.
