George Papanikolas, celebrity colorist and Matrix global ambassador who tends to the tresses of actresses and models like Ana de Armas, Ellen Pompeo and Pia Whitesell, popped over to the east coast from LA to celebrate a few new Matrix launches (check out this one if you haven't already, and watch this space for updates as more are released).
While in NYC, he posted up at ARTE Salon to create hair magic, including these golden blonde highlights. Here's how he achieved the look:
He began by using a freehand technique in the crown, applying Matrix Light Master Bonder Inside. Next, he used Matrix's new 4D Foilayage technique to applying Light Master Blonder Inside with 30-volume developer. He let hair process under head for about 25 minutes. After rinsing color out at the shampoo bowl, he applied Color Sync 10N gloss to achieve a warm (but not too warm!) tint. Hello summer-ready highlights!
