“Usually when we do a Red Carpet look, the dress determines the hair and makeup. This look was no different. We wanted something really modern to match and Ken set the tone with the hair off the face, so it had to be about the eyes. The result was a beautiful, modern cat eye – not too thick or overwhelming. A nod to Sofia Loren and Old Hollywood, but with a modern twist. And of course, beautiful glowing skin,” Elan said.

  • Start off by applying L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Derm Intensives 12% Vitamin C + E + Salicylic Serum for a brightening glow effect, topping skin prep off with a layer of Age Perfect Midnight Cream. “Eva and I are both loving this cream!” notes Elan.
  • Next, blend L’Oréal Paris True Match Super Blendable Foundation (Eva’s shade is N3) all over and spot-apply Infallible 24HR Full Wear Concealer (Eva is shade Amber) for a flawless base complexion.
  • L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Satin Blush in Marigold adds color and definition to cheekbones.
  • To make the eyes the focal point, opt for L’Oréal Paris Infallible Grip Eyeliner in ‘Intense Black’ and draw a thin, elongated cat eye. Finish with coats of L’Oréal Paris Telescopic Lift Mascara.
  • Last, color lips using L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Intense Volume Matte Lipstick in Le Wood Nonchalant.

Hair By Ken Paves For L’oréal Paris

“For Eva’s hair tonight, we wanted something that felt elevated and sophisticated but not too 'done' to balance the sparkle of her dress – almost as if she just let her hair down – we went with a look that was down, but flowed off of the face with a lot of luxe texture,” Ken said.

  • For extra vibrancy and shine, touch up color a few days before you plan to style with L’Oréal Paris Excellence Crème (Eva wears shade 4 Dark Brown).
  • Shampoo and condition the hair with L’Oréal Paris Elvive Hyaluron + Plump Shampoo and Conditioner, finishing with L’Oréal Paris EverPure Simply Clean Elastic Fiber Masque for added hydration. Ken confirms that “Eva has been living in this conditioner and mask to prep for the big day.”
  • Start with very damp hair, misting L’Oréal Paris EverPure 21-in-1 Color Caring Spray all over the hair, saturating it with product to create a really luxe texture and conditioned finish. The spray works as a leave-in conditioner and enhances natural texture, such as Eva’s waves.
  • Begin to cradle the hair into its natural waves and scrunch lightly to further bring out texture.
  • Next, place pins throughout the hair where needed to hold waves in place as you’d like them to dry.
  • Use a drier bonnet to dry the hair in place. Then remove the pins and do quick passes with a curling iron over pieces to help frame them around the face.
  • Lastly, go through the hair section by section with duck bill clips and spray each section with L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Unscented Hair Spray for hold, while diffusing the hair in place with a drier.
  • Finish with a final mist of L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Unscented Hair Spray all over.

  • Apply L’Oréal Paris Prime Lab Up to 24HR Pore Minimizer for a flawless complexion that lasts.
  • Use L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24HR Full Wear Concealer (Andie is shade 380) under the eyes along with L’Oréal Paris True Match Super Blendable Foundation (Andie’s combination is N3 and N5.5) all over the face. For the cheekbones, mix a few drops of the L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion before applying, for a dewy finish.
  • A hint of contour to the cheeks and a flush of warmth on the apples of the cheeks is achieved using L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Satin Blush in Marigold.
  • For statement eyes, apply L'Oreal Paris Infallible Grip Precision Felt Waterproof Eyeliner in ‘Blue’ along the top lashline, and blend blue shadow into the crease and under the eyes. Opt for L’Oréal Paris Infallible Grip Eyeliner in ‘Intense Black’ in water lines and blend up and out. Top lashes off with L’Oréal Paris Telescopic Lift Mascara.
  • Finish the look strong while keeping emphasis on the eye by using Colour Riche Satin Lipstick in Shade 766 ‘Plum Explosion’.
