Evanie Frausto of Bumble and bumble handled the chic hairstyles for the LUAR Spring/Summer 2024 New York Fashion Week Show in Brooklyn last week.
Frausto used Bb.Holding Spray, Sumogel, Bb.Gel, Bb.Sunday Shampoo and Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer to get the looks.
The major look for the Luar SS24 show featured a super-lacquered finish on hair that is meticulously pulled back, sculpted and set into a high-intensity shine. Starting the look with Bb.Holding Spray applied generously section by section, hair is brushed and swept up into a perfectly snatched ponytail high ponytail.
Working with the top of the head first, Sumogel is liberally applied to achieve an even stronger hold together with another application of Holding Spray.
Working with the ponytail leave-out, spray the section with water then apply Bb.Gel, layering together with Sumo Gel to lock in hold. Sections of the ponytail are then sculpted into pin-curl sculptural shapes delicately placed on the head, creating motion in the look. Finishing off the look, Bb.Holding Spray is spritzed on top to seal and top off the lacquered look.
Use Bb.Sunday Shampoo to clarify and deep cleanse hair and Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer to hydrate and nourish hair.
To make this look more everyday, make a snatch ponytail held together with Bb.Holding Spray to keep hair tight and tidy. Then, twist the ponytail into a bun, together with Bb.Gel. Finally, on the ends are left out of the bun, simply swirl them on the back of the head and press them down. Seal with Sumogel.
