Get the Look: Sabrina Carpenter on Tour in Denver, CO

Sabrina Carpenter recently performed in Denver, CO for leg two of her "Emails I Can’t Send" tour on March 30, 2023 at the Mission Ballroom.

Sabrina’s hairstylist Scott King exclusively partnered with Hairstory to create the looks for the tour.

“For this show we wanted her hair to look more like a fresh 90’s blowout—think Claudia Schiffer vibes!" King said.

To achieve this look:

  • King used Hairstory heat protectant Dressed Up "a MUST" before using any heat to keep the hair healthy
  • Next, King sprayed the volumizing spray Lift at the root.
  • When blow drying, King bumped the ends under with a round brush so it wasn’t just stuck straight.
  • After all the hair was dry, King used a pea size amount of Hair Balm mid shaft to ends and used any excess product on top, which is key for smoothing out any fly aways!
  • King finished with dry shampoo Powder at the roots for extra volume and brushed her hair out to create this 90’s fluffy blowout!

Products Used:

Dressed Up Heat Protection Lotion, $36: This lightweight thermal hair protection shields from hot styling tools (up to 450º), offers control, and adds body, while also helping to shield from damaging, color-fading UV rays.

Lift Volumizing Spray, $38: A heat-activated volumizing root lift spray formulated with a blend of thickening, shaping resins, moisturizing extracts, and quick-drying spirits to add body and fullness or “starch” to lock in shape before hot tools. The finish? Smooth, weightless, and workable hair.

Hair Balm, $37 / 8oz: Like skincare for your hair: This lightweight cream adds moisture, helps to define curls and revive over-processed hair without feeling crunchy, sticky, or gelled. When your bottle is nearly empty, don't toss it; refill it twice with one 8-oz refill pouch.

Powder Dry Shampoo, $37 / 1.35oz: This natural, translucent talc-free (and aerosol-free!), volumizing dry shampoo powder absorbs oil while instantly creating body, extending the life of a blowout, adding texture to braids, and helping updos hold up.
