“This is a super easy hack to a full bun that’s perfect for the holiday season,” says Ellen Devine, Sam Villa ArTeam and Master Stylist at Lunatic Fringe.
- Add body to hair. Using the Sam Villa Artist Series 2-in-1 Marcel Iron and Wand, Ellen detaches the spoon to make it a wand and wraps hair around it in large sections.
- Separate the hair left to right. Ellen uses the Sam Villa Artist Series Finishing Brush to smooth one side of hair into a high ponytail making a loop, leaving the ends out. Repeat on opposite side.
- Take the two buns and cross one over the other and pull through, securing with bobby pin. Hot Tip: Secure it right where hand is holding the hair in place for best grip.
- Take the "tails" that you left out, and wrap up and secure. Spray and adjust fullness using a tail comb. Pull out extra pieces for around the face.
