CND has been collaborating with fashion wunderkinds The Blonds for quite awhile now, and they pulled out all the stops to bring their apocalyptic Fall/Winter 2015 ready to wear collection to vivid life, showcasing 20 distinct nail designs that were inspired by dystopian elements of iconic films, like A Clockwork Orange and Tank Girl. The collection featured a clash of distressed and refined elements, layered with high-shine color using CND Shellac 14+ day nail color and Vinylux Weekly Polish, accented with gold chrome accessories, textural elements and handcrafted molten palettes. “The Blonds’ aesthetic for this collection correlated perfectly with our Fall 2015 trend story,” said CND co-founder and Style Director Jan Arnold. “It’s all about the contrast between edgy, almost explosive design elements and high-end finishes for an overall dark elegance.” —Kamala Kirk, West Coast Editor
