Contradiction Nail Styles: Controversy Step-by-Step

How To Instructions

  1. P.E.P. the natural nail.
  2. Apply a thin layer CND SHELLAC Base Coat. Cure for 10 seconds in the CND LED Lamp.
  3. Apply two thin layers of CND SHELLAC Tartan Punk. Cure each layer for one minute.
  4. Cut or tear a jagged piece of a transfer and place onto the top film, smoothing into place with the Gel Flat Oval Brush. (See “To Create Transfer” below.)
  5. Apply a thin layer of CND SHELLAC Brand XPRESS5™ Top Coat. Cure for one minute.
  6. Wipe with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove top film.
  7. Gently buff the entire nail with the green side of the CND Glossing Block to reveal a matte “leathered look.”
  8. Embellish the nail with crystals and faceted gems in different sizes using SEALEBOND™ Adhesive.

To Create Transfer:

  1. Brush a thin layer of CND SHELLAC Peacock Plume on a piece of palette paper. Cure for one minute.
  2. Wipe with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove top film from the form.
