American Salon is First to Market with Digital-Only Magazine for 2019

Commencing with our January 2019 issue, American Salon is shifting its focus to the digital realm, where salon owners, managers and beauty pros will be able to experience the same storytelling, business tips, and inspirational hair and makeup collections that we’ve always been known for providing.

With that in mind, we have enhanced our digital platform’s features, benefits and functionality, all of which afford plenty of room for rich media. Here are just a few of the offerings you will be able to experience:

  • Share – Love what you’re reading? You can send the full document, page or article via email, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Pinterest.
  • Video –  Video can be streamed from YouTube or Vimeo as embedded videos on the page, providing an overall enhanced reading experience.  
  • Ticker – The ticker displays clickable text and/or a small image at the bottom of the issue view.  It can direct readers to a product website and provide up-to-the-minute news.
  • Search – Something in particular that you’re looking for? Enter a keyword(s) to search selected issues.
