Andis Company, a producer of professional-grade grooming tools, recently hired Hector Contreras as regional sales manager for the company’s Central and South American branches. Contreras, a Venezuela native, will be in charge of developing Andis’s sales, distribution and customer service departments for the beauty, animal, retail and hospitality markets.
He previously worked as sales and marketing director for Ralston Purina, and has also held positions at Xerox and Kozy Shack Enterprises, consulting for consumer product distribution. His 25 years of prior work experience will help identify opportunities for Andis to grow in this region. — S.Z.
