Joan Harrison, publications director of Canadian Hairdresser, Canada's sole bilingual publication for the professional beauty industry, passed away on October 7, 2017. According to a post that details Joan’s wishes on Canadian Hairdresser’s Facebook page, “There will not be a funeral service, but a celebration of Joan's life will be held at a future date.” The entire industry will miss Joan Harrison, but thankfully the inspiration she provided to all of us, will continue to live on.
