Biolage Unveils Plant-Based Haircolor Line

Biolage is diving into the haircolor realm with a plant-based line.

Holding true to their core values of "Good for you. Good for your hair. Good for the planet," Biolage is diving into the haircolor realm with a plant-based line. Biolage Color will satisfy the ingredient- and health-conscious client with damage-free, strengthening color formulas in 20 nature-inspired, long lasting, intermixable and true-to-tone shades.

"In the age of the ingredient-conscious consumer, Biolage is redefining the natural haircolor game," says Alfredo Lewis, Biolage brand ambassador. "With 20 intermixable, conditioning and strengthening shades, Biolage color will satisfy both my high maintenance and natural clients alike—and did I mention it's nasty free and vegan? Biolage haircolor is the future of haircolor," he adds.

Each new haircolor shade is 82 to 100 percent plant-based with minimal ingredients. With Biolage Color, the maximum number on the list of haircolor ingredients is ten or fewer, and the clear formula only contains two ingredients. What's more, every shade is intermixable, giving colorists an unlimited range of artistic options. The pre-blended shades are true-to-tone; deliver cool, sheer hues in 10 minutes, and rich, saturated, blended coverage in 30 minutes. Plus, no developer is required—simply mix Biolage Color in a 1:3 ratio with hot water.
