R&B sensation Ciara released her new identity along with her new album on July 9th making a fierce comeback worthy of page six with homage to her celebrity hairstylist, Cesar Ramirez born into a family of devoted hairdressers. Ramirez has colored and styled hair for celebrity clients such as Beyonce, Cassie, The Jonas Brothers and Sara Ramirez as well as being a featured stylist in Italian Vogue, GQ, Latina Magazine, ID and more.

“I wanted to give Ciara a new signature look--one that was as evolved and as solid as her new persona on this project,” Ramirez said. Having been Ciara's go-to stylist for a number of years, Ramirez has fabricated her eye-popping style including her Sophia Loren/Marilyn Monroe look at the BET Awards. Recently, Ciara's stylist chopped her locks giving her a simplistic yet edgy cut making it easy for Ramirez to style the array of looks for the album as well as her most recent video featuring Nicki Minaj.

For the cover of the album, Ciara flaunted the trendsetting color and cut.“The look was soft, natural and pretty, but still tough and sexy. After safely creating the perfect blonde color with a balayage technique we achieved the perfect modern ombré. I then knew the cut had to be flirty and light so I incorporated a ton of short and long layers, and really thinned out the ends for a razored look," Ramirez said.
