Davines Prepares for 2nd Annual Sustainable Beauty Day

Planting one of 6,000 fruit trees in Africa after last year's Sustainable Beauty Day.

Davines has announced its continued partnership with The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation (FTPF), a charity that benefits impoverished communities for the 2nd annual Sustainable Beauty Day that will take place on Monday, October 15.

This year’s Sustainable Beauty Day will fund a fruit tree-planting project in Brazil in early 2013. Davines will be the sole sponsor for the project that will plant more than 6,000 native fruit trees throughout poor communities and FTPF’s Brazil-based support teams will ensure these efforts will be cultivated for years to benefit the community, as harvests from the trees planted will serve as a direct food source.

To get involved, open your doors on October 15 for free cuts and services in exchange for a donation to the charity. For more information and to get involved, email [email protected] or visit news.davines.com/us. —Aja Edwards
