Davines Presents Sustainable Beauty Day

Davines has partnered with The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation, a unique charity that supports impoverished communities through the planting of fruit trees, to create a Sustainable Beauty Day. On June 20, select salons will offer cut and styling services in exchange for a minimum donation of at least $15, and all service proceeds will go to impoverished communities in Africa for the planting of fruit trees.

Davines and The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation aim to raise $20,000 to fund a new fruit tree planting initiative called Sustainabilitree in the Sofala Province of Mozambique, Africa. Sustainabilitree’s mission is to alleviate world hunger, empower communities, improve air, soil and water quality and combat global warming.
