Dominic Michael Salon Partners with Young Designers

St. Louis’ Dominic Michael Salon partnered with the 82nd annual Fashion Design Show for the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in May. The annual event celebrated the work of young designers and included presentations of six seniors’ and nine juniors’ capstones. The event also marked the 20th year that the salon’s owner, Dominic Bertani, has performed hairstyling for the models with Design Show.

Bertani also presented the Dominic Michael Silver Scissors Award to one exceptional senior. “I love being a part of this event, because it is always so encouraging and creatively inspiring to work with these young designers,” Bertani said. “They are so passionate about what they are doing, and it inspires my team as well. My goal in working with them is always to show off their hard work and talent.” —Kristen Heinzinger
