Phyto's Phytopolleine scalp elixir kit.

In a new partnership with the worldwide conservation organization, The Nature Conservancy, hair care brand Phyto will be donating a portion of its Phytopolleine scalp elixir sales to the “Plant a Billion Trees” campaign, which will contribute to the restoration of the endangered Atlantic Forest in Brazil.

Phyto will contribute $2 to The Nature Conservancy for every purchase made of the limited edition Phytopolleine—a 100 percent essential oil scalp treatment .

“Preserving nature’s ecosystem and the plant world is at the heart of Phyto’s philosophy, and now there is no better time for us to look forward and take action,” says Raphael Yousri, president and CEO of Alès Group, Phyto’s parent company.

Phyto’s nationwide salon network will offer special in-salon treatment days, given by Phyto experts and stylists, to encourage fundraising efforts throughout the rest of 2012. — Aja Edwards
