Henkel Celebrates the Opening of the #AcademyofHair

The industry's much-anticipated #AcademyofHair has officially opened its doors. On Thursday, June 14, Henkel's professional haircare and color brands, Alterna, Kenra Professional, PRAVANA, #mydentity, Joico, Schwarzkopf Professional and Sexy Hair, celebrated the inauguration alongside beauty industry leaders, influencers and community dignitaries. Guests were invited to tour the state-of-the-art space and experience its advanced educational and content creation capabilities. 

Henkel's #AcademyofHair is located within the Beauty Care Hair Professional Headquarters in Culver City. The facility features rentable spaces, including a full-service test salon and color bar, a trend lab designed specifically for content creation and a versatile academy space. With a view of the Los Angeles skyline to complement the numerous opportunities that the facility has to offer, the #AcademyofHair provides Henkel the opportunity to share its brands' products and innovations with stylists worldwide.

To honor the spirit of the new facility and conclude the evening's celebrations, the Henkel Beauty Hair Care Professional brands hosted a runway presentation in the academy space. Each brand introduced an artistic ambassador who created a look on a model that embodied their brands' identity while ultimately forming a collection that signified their unity under one roof.
