Exciting news: The International Beauty Show New York is this weekend! For three straight days, beauty gurus from all different professions will convene in New York City for the nation's longest-running beauty show, and we hope to see you there.
Among many others, one of the show's biggest highlights is the world class education available to attendees, including 100 free classes, pay-to-attend master classes and hands-on workshops. Leading up to the event, we'll be highlighting several speakers that you'll want to add to your list of must-sees. Today, we're shedding some light on Charlie Price.
Who: Charlie Price is one of the most recognizable faces in the salon industry. He educates, inspires and entertains hairstylists all over the world—offering tips, tricks and timeless techniques for the runway, photo studio and salon. He is a two time North American Hairstylist of the Year winner and International Stylist of the Year winner. He has seen his photos published in hair magazines worldwide and has created runway hair looks for designers at New York Fashion Week since 1998. He has also made a memorable appearance on Bravo TV’s "Shear Genius 2."
What: At this year's IBS, Price will be teaching a "Create the Catwalk" class on Sunday and Monday alongside The Beauty Underground. The Beauty Underground is a collective of prominent award-winning platform artists who come together to inspire, entertain and inform hairstylists, and most importantly help them realize their power in the industry and their own career.
