Macadamia Professional is pleased to welcome Karrie Fonte as Area Vice President of Global Education. Karrie will work closely with the sales, marketing and innovation teams to create strategic global education curriculum and develop a team of educators.
Karrie brings extensive industry and education experience to the team and is well suited for the position of growing a global presence with the education team. Macadamia Professional launched ten products this year, offering hair care and styling products infused with a blend of Macadamia and Argan oils that are cruelty free, color safe and free of sulfates, parabens and gluten. With the launch of several new products, Macadamia Professional is making global education a top priority.
After receiving her hairstyling license at 19, Karrie worked at several top salons and developed a passion for teaching the skill. Starting as a field educator for Logics, she continued to develop her skills and later served as Assistant Vice President, US Education role with Matrix. In her previous position, Karrie was the Director of Education with Alterna Haircare and a QVC spokesperson.
Karrie is a driving force and constant source of inspiration within the beauty industry. Her devotion and passion continually set the highest standards for learning and implementing successful programs for education and marketing. Her approach to learning is broad enough to create industry-wide instructional formats and specific and relevant enough to enlighten every stylist. Karrie’s humor and passionate personality make any presentation entertaining and informative.
In her personal life, Karrie is a fan of University of Georgia Bulldog football, LA Kings hockey, and avid watcher of food and cooking shows. She enjoys spending time with her two Bulldogs and supporting Bulldog Rescue.
