Last night I headed downtown to the Meatpacking District in Manhattan to check out the 5th anniversary party of STK restaurant, where Matrix was a sponsor. Matrix Artistic Director Ammon Carver was on hand, helping the VIP guests get glammed up for the occasion with clip-in feather extensions, glittering hair clips and shimmering tinsel strands; they also received a gift bag of Matrix Design Pulse styling products. In addition, revelers at the Studio 54-themed event were treated to an open bar, mini makeup sessions from Sephora and performances by body-painted models—oh la la!
