In January Matrix held the largest C.R.A.F.T. Color Mastery event in company history, hosting 150 Matrix Educators and featuring Matrix Director of Training Leah Sterk and Artistic Director Chrystofer Benson as facilitators. Seventeen additional zone coaches helped push educators beyond their limits, teaching color chemistry and discipline to this creative, talented group. Only 50 attendees passed and received their Color Master certification on a surprise phone call with Sterk and Vice President of Education Martin Dale. The rest of the attendees are able to retake the course at no charge within the next two years. “The scoring is transparent, which helps them understand where they need to improve,” Sterk said. “And we show them exactly how to do things the right way so that they can turn those weaknesses around.”
