Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall '10: L.A.M.B.

Yesterday I headed to Milk Studios and made my way backstage at L.A.M.B, where lead stylist for Moroccanoil Danilo was creating beautiful 1930s-inspired wavy hair with bangs to complement Gwen Stefani's edgy fashions. Danilo applied Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream to the hair, then curled it in a tight pattern using a Titanium Hot Tools iron, pinning each curl in place to set. He then applied Hairdo bang extensions on each model, and trimmed the bangs to customize the look. Finally, he brushed out the curls and sprayed the hair with Moroccanoil's new Luminous Hairspray for hold and Glimmer Shine Spray for intense shine.

In keeping with Gwen's love of dark red nails, lead nail tech for CND Roxanne Valinoti gave nails an old Hollywood feel with CND's Dark Ruby on short rounded square shaped nails. Lead makeup artist for M.A.C Charlotte Tilbury completed the look with a '30s-inspired Clara Bow look, featuring big, red-black lips, doll-like foundation and a black, elongated smokey eye.

The backstage crew got a special treat when Gwen brought her son, Zuma, in to have his hair prepped by Danilo so he would be ready to watch the show in style.
