Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week NYC Fall ‘10: Karen Walker

To complement Karen Walker's Fall 2010 Collection, the hair, nails and makeup were minimal. Below, watch a video of CND's Jan Arnold describing the clean and sheer nail coloring.

The hairstyle created by Rolando Beauchamp for Bumble and bumble featured small heads with rough ponytails. After using either Does It All Styling Spray or Thickening Hairspray, depending on the model's hair, Beauchamp did not brush or comb the hair and instead pulled it back into a ponytail, pulling a bit up on the crown to create height. He left the hair a little messy with a few fly-aways. "It's the simplist things that work the most," Beauchamp said.

The one things that popped on all the models was bright red lips, which was part of the look created by Jenna Menard for Shiseido. "I talked to Karen and she was really looking to do a statement look with the makeup, and what says statement look besides a red lip," Menard said. The timely named lipstick, Valentine, was blotted down to keep it matte. As for the rest of the face, Menard left it raw with no mascara or brow and only a small amount of peach shimmer around the eye and a dusting of army green along the bottom lash line.
