Before hitting the town for Fashion's Night Out, I stopped by Pipino 57, celebrity stylist Ric Pipino's new Wella flagship salon, for a little primping. I was first given voluminous waves by Shalom Sharon, whom I had interviewed the day before at the Lindsay Degen presentation. Next, makeup artist Selenia Perez worked her magic, making my tired eyes come alive with well-placed highlighter, smoky green shadows and fabulous fake lashes.

Once I was all dolled up, I was ready to head down to Ted Gibson Salon for an exclusive party hosted by Twilight star Ashley Greene. The salon was filled to the brim with beauty editors and bloggers, hairstylists and salon owners from across the country, Manhattan socialites and reality stars like Countess LuAnn de Lesseps from The Real Housewives of New York City and TJ Kelly from The A-List. The event was co-sponsored by mark. cosmetics and Moet.
