Mordechai Alvow Styles Brooke Shields’ Hair for Kidsfest Event

Brooke Shields’ effortless-looking hairstyle at Free Arts NYC’s Kidsfest 2010 at Saatchi & Saatchi on December 12 in Manhattan was the work of editorial stylist and founder of Yarok Haircare Mordechai Alvow. To achieve Shields’ natural look, Alvow used products from his new collection of haircare essentials. He first applied Feed Your Roots all-natural mousse and Feed Your Ends leave-in conditioner to the hair for volume and shine. Alvow then blow-dried Shields’ hair using a round brush, pinning her strands in sections for optimal results. He misted Feed Your Hold hairspray to lock in the style and used his fingers and a small amount of Feed Your Shine all-natural hair serum to create a beachy, imperfect style. Alvow secured the top part of Brooke’s hair with two pins to complete the look.
